In America, failure is celebrated, seen as a mere consequence of trying to improve or disrupt an existing product or service. US entrepreneurs are known for their ability — and willingness — to tell the world about their success. Investors are less risk-averse. Meanwhile, their European counterparts, often seen as far more humble, have been trying to perfect the art of cracking the US — because as much as it is big and challenging, the scale afforded by America’s vast customer base is something only Europeans can dream about....

Confession time: I’ve always yearned to be the headphones-in-public-wearing type, but due to my follicly-challenged condition — I haven’t been able to. In the past year or so a lot of companies including OnePlus and Motorola released their smart TVs. However, smart TVs don’t always feature apps like Netflix, and sometimes struggle when it comes to streaming locally-owned content. The streaming device is perfect for streaming 4K content from leading services such as Netflix, Prime Video, and HBO. Plus, you can stream content for free from IMDB TV and Pluto TV. In April, Google also made an official YouTube app available on Fire TV....

I’m still not quite on board with the gradual disappearance of the 3.5mm headphone jack from phones, but it hasn’t been all bad. One of the unexpected benefits of having to adapt to this trend is that it introduced me to wireless audiogear — and I can’t imagine going back to using cords. Why go around cherry-picking great bits of training from loads of different places when you can just buy all the best gathered in one package?...

But the challenges brought on in the last few months have raised the question as to whether or not organizations are properly equipped to handle a crisis of this magnitude. Hopefully, they can scale their responsiveness with the help of conversational artificial intelligence, technologies that help computers process and respond to text and voice input.
